  • Future Heroes (Ages 7-11)

      • Explore a variety of public safety careers in just one week! Campers will participate in a simulated investigation and learn how police officers, EMTs, firefighters, and nurses help keep the community safe. Campers will practice CPR and take a tour of the vehicles and organizations that serve and protect us.

      • Through hands-on interactions in CFK’s Aquaculture lab, campers will learn about working with marine ornamental fish and what it takes to raise aquarium fish. They will investigate live feeds, water quality, and basic tank care and maintenance. Campers will get to build and take home their own aquarium! maintenance.   • Young Writers (Ages 10-15)

      • Put your mind and imagination to work! Campers will learn the craft of writing fiction, poetry, drama, and short stories.
  • Code Breakers (Ages 9-12)

      • Discover the basics of computer programming, coding, and design.
  • STEM Robotics Camp (Ages 9-12)

    • Campers will have a nautical STEM experience, by creating remotely operated marine vehicles. Curriculum will include learning electrical and mechanical systems of robots, learning about microprocessors, basic coding, and marine data collection.

CFK's Summer Camps will be held in-person on the Key West Campus. Camps run Mondays through Fridays, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a 60-minute lunch break.

 

 

 

Important Registration Information

For all campers

  1. Download the Camper Registration Packet.
  2. Drop-off completed Camper Registration Packet on-campus (Building B, room 206) or email to summercamp@cfk.edu.
  3. Payments will be accepted beginning April 27, 2023. Payment may be made over the phone (305-809-3186) or in-person at Business Services (Building A, room 114).
